POSITION SCOPE

The Maritime & Internal Logistics Coordinator will coordinate and track the efficient flow of barges and tug boats based on vessel loading plans or molasses inventory levels. The Maritime & Internal Logistics Coordinator will lead the tug boats crews and will evaluate their performance. The Maritime & Internal Logistics Coordinator will coordinate the annual maintenance plan for barges, cranes and tug boats supported by the Operations area and by having into considerations the Sales & Operations plan.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Vessel loading coordination & scheduling.
• Barges & tug boats flow management & tracking
• Coordination & execution of annual maintenance plan for barges, tug boats & cranes
• Performance evaluation for tug boats crews
• Witconcrete management (Molasses storage location)
• Budget management
• Active participation and support to EHS / QA / Audits / local regulation
• Performance metrics analysis & Communication
• Interact closely with Customer Service / International logistics and other agents for delivery, scheduling and dispatching details.
• Respond to emergency situations as needed

ESSENTIAL WORK EXPERIENCES

• Exposure to container logistics is a plus

• Planning (maintenance & operations)

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree administration or engineering
• 10+ years of experience in maritime logistics
