The 2nd Level Support Specialist provide Data Base technical support for Tire Power, E Power, and Tread Tracks users by receiving assigned case work from 1st Level Support Specialists.

The 2nd Level Support Specialist provides Data Base technical support for Tire Power, E Power, and Tread Tracks users by receiving assigned case work from 1st Level Support Specialists, troubleshooting via case notes and Data Base research, writing custom scripts, and providing expertise to 1st Level Support Specialists on Data Base functionality through the UI.

 

Proficiency Skills:

  •  LAN Knowledge, Resolving Conflict, Market Knowledge, Analyzing Information, Help Desk Experience Duties & Responsibilities:
  •  Resolves product or service problems by determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution.
  •  Initiates and maintains accurate records of conversations and resolutions in Fogbugz case notes.
  •  Equips 1st Level Support Specialists by recommending techniques and best practices
  • Expedites and facilitates communication between Programming and 1st Level Support.
  • Provides and maintains accurate documentation of custom scripts, set up, and resolution procedures in FogBugz WIKIs.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in ongoing training and educational opportunities
  • Compliments their team by promoting company mission and values
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Qualifications:

  •  Associate Degree in Information Technology
  •  2 to 4 Years’ experience with SQL Server, T-SQL, MySQL
  •  Problem Solving, Verbal Communication, Phone Skills, Customer Service, Quality Focus, Product Knowledge, Documentation Skills, Listening, Operating Systems, PC
